Identity Conference

I had a timely email through my inbox last week. The govt.nz team have a really interesting blog that I am subscribed to and they have recently written a blog entry advertising “The Identity Conference” that is due to take place in Wellington next week.

Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) are currently working on balancing the need to accurately identify people online as well as their privacy.  But they aren’t attending the conference just to talk to people and convince them of their way of thinking, they are going there to listen to others views.

So if you are interested in online identity and are able to get there I recommend looking into how to register.

Also, if you are interested to see what is happening in the online space within the New Zealand Government the govt.nz blog is well worth subscribing to.
